Enjoy a round of golf

Enjoy the scenic beauty of Forest Parks Norman K. Probstein Community Golf Course, one of the finest public courses in the country. The Forest Park golf course was built in 1913 on the site of the 1904 World's Fair.  The course was recently rebuilt to provide a challenging layout for all golfers.

Stan Gentry, chief architect for Hale Irwin Golf Services Inc., reconfigured the 27 holes into three nine-hole courses.  All three courses have lush zoysia fairways and bent grass greens. Our tournament will play the Dogwood and Redbud tracks.

The Dogwood course is for the more adventurous golfer. It starts out hilly, has one hole with a water fairway and ends with a 600 yard par 5.  The Redbud nine incorporates some of the most dramatic holes from the original golf course layout. It is very hilly and challenging.

The clubhouse is a beautiful glass structure, located on Lagoon Drive, near the Forsyth entrance to Forest Park. Ruthie's Grill is open for all park users. Its veranda and patio have a terrific view of the golf course.

Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the course on Monday morning June 18th.  Your bus departs at 7:00 a.m. from the Hyatt Hotel.  Greens fee, cart and lunch are included.  Reservations (on a first- come first-served basis) are required (see registration form).  Club rentals are available at the course - rental club reservations need to be made by June 11, 2007 by contacting the clubhouse at 314-367-1337.  Foursomes will be set prior to the event.  For further information, contact Rich Biljetina - 202-251-8902.
